Okay this won't be a full on post, just some advice.
No matter how funny you think it is, or what a good joke it would be do not casually refer to your wife as "Nanny McPhee." She won't think it is funny and you will waste a lot of time trying to explain yourself.

Also, never refer to your girlfriend as "Chuckles". In the grand scheme of things, this would be the equivilent of a Nazi Communist cutting down 6 billion acres of protected rainforest while clubbing cute baby seals and bunny rabbits.
Man, I heard about that one for WEEKS! Apparently, fat people are referred to as "Chuckles".
Another no-no is, when talking about the woman in France who got the face transplant and how she must feel, saying "Well, you'll never have to worry about it, because you don't need a face transplant".
Yet another no-no is when she says "I look hideous today!" to say "Honey, you don't look hideous."
I think women bait us into saying really really really stupid things. At least that's what I tell myself...
